Evaluation of Telecomp Maroc & Solutions.IT 2008

- Telecomp Maroc & Solutions.IT 2008, the 6th International Telecommunications and IT Exhibition and Conference of Morocco, was held with the official support of the Moroccan Ministry of Industry, Trade and New Technologies, and in cooperation with the ANRT and Apebi.
- Ericsson has been welcomed as Official Sponsor of Telecomp Maroc 2008, and Huawei and ZTE as Major Sponsors.
- International exhibitors displayed their state-of-the-art technologies in the fields of mobile telephony, fixed-mobile convergence, e-government solutions, broadband, Internet, intelligent networks, broadcasting and satellite systems, at the International Exhibition Center in Casablanca.
- Some 4,500 visitors of the trade plus 4,000 public visitors came to discuss business with the leaders of the market.
- The Telecom-Forum on “Towards Next Generation Networks” has been organized during the event, sponsored by Cisco, Ericsson and Huawei, as well as the IT-Forum on “Enterprise software applications and business solutions”, sponsored by SAP.
- The most important objectives for the exhibitors were public relations / maintaining contacts (91%), followed by sales (86%) and observation of the market (77%). 45% of the exhibitors concentrated on the search for an agent, and 55% also focused on other aims.
- With reference to the graphic below we observe that a total of 50% of the exhibitors achieved their main target, public relations / maintaining contacts, fully and 45% partially. Sales has been achieved fully by 5% and partially by 42%, and observation of the market fully by 35% and partially by 59%. The search for an agent has been achieved fully by 10% and partially by 20%, and other aims, pre-specified by each exhibitor, have been fully attained by 33% and partially by 33%.
